This amazing family of 4 is in need of love and support!

Natalie is a 5 year old currently in her second battle with Grade 3 Anaplastic Ependymoma, an aggressive type of central nervous system tumor. She was diagnosed in November of 2020 and relapsed in March of 2022, less than a year since completing treatment. She then had her second brain surgery and they were able to remove the new tumor. After that, she was treated with the gamma knife to the tumor site and since then has been on IV and oral chemotherapy with no end to treatment in sight. 

Her family, like most families going through the battle with cancer, have taken a financial hit. Sarah, Natalie’s mom, has been staying home to care for Natalie and Margot while Patrick, Natalie’s dad, works. Living off of one income is really difficult, especially when you’ve got cancer expenses on top of normal expenses. 

Natalie and her family could use this act of kindness not only to help them financially, but to lift their spirits up during this difficult battle. Sarah has an incredible heart and supports the childhood cancer community with her beautifully raw posts, fierce advocacy, and kindness. It is an absolute honor to be selecting this family to receive the very first spotlight in our $1 At A Time fundraiser. 

A little goes a long, long way when there’s so many incredible people coming together.
