Meet Charlie,

Most of you who have been with us know who Miss Charlie Mae is.

Charlie is a 5 year old Medulloblastoma fighter from the bay area of Northern California.

Charlie is known for her sweet little voice and her infectious smile. Charlie has been battling brain cancer for over 2 years now. Last year, Charlie relapsed and her family was told we would not be here today.. but look, here we are! GO CHARLIE GO!!

Charlie's family has been doing everything they can to support her along this journey. Her family consists of her Mom Taylor, Dad Alecs, and her 2 brothers Jackson and Theo. Charlie has amassed a HUGE social media presence with over 78k followers by sharing her life with those who want to be TEAM CHEERING FOR CHARLIE; from her Dr visits and medical procedures to her life outside of the hospital, creating slime and hiding custom painted CharlieRocks around town. She even hands out custom CheeringForCharlie window clings to neighbors and strangers in her town and across California. Charlie continues to smile and spread good and positivity everywhere she goes, all while battling cancer.

Through Charlie's following on Instagram, she has not only been an advocate for CHILDHOOD CANCER AWARENESS, but she has also been able to influence others to #spreadgood and support others in numerous ways, both within, and outside of the Childhood Cancer Community.

This has come to be known as Charlie's Village.

It's Charlie's Village that has helped dozens of other families in this Childhood Cancer community; including my own. She recently helped my project The Bereaved Families program raise funds by rallying people, Charlies Village, to help us raise funds by getting people to sign up and complete 60 second surveys. Each completed survey generated $2 for our program. It was Charlie's Village who brought in over $26,000 in less than 20days, helping us reach our $40,000 fundraising goal. Charlie and her family are constantly looking out for others and looking for ways they can lend a helping hand, and they are so grateful for this VILLAGE of people who want to spread good with Charlie.

Today, I'm asking for your help in supporting Charlie and her family directly. As I mentioned earlier, Charlie and her family live in the bay area of California; actually in the most expensive zip code in the US. However, the house they live in is comparably cheap as their family has lived there for numerous years. As many cancer families know, this is a MARATHON and not a SPRINT, and years of struggling can easily make being able to live day to day a challenge, let alone things like RENT or CAR REGISTRATION(currently late). Not being able to hold a normal job, or having reliable income, along with having 3 kids makes it all a lot to manage.

Charlie's mom refuses to ask Charlie's Village for help for their family, as she is so passionate about helping other people through Charlie's Village.

TODAY, I want us to come together, all part of Charlie's Village and raise Charlie some serious funds. We have a goal of $70,000 we'd like to fundraise, to help alleviate the stress of where Charlie and her family are going to live, or how they are going to carry on through 2023, while Charlie continues to receive treatment in San Francisco. Let's rally for the family who rallies for everyone else. Lets show  Charlie's family how strong her village really is. Let's show them how much they are loved and supported. If 700 people gave $100 we could raise $70k for this beautiful family who is so deserving and does so much for the world around them. Let's do this Charlie's Village
