Ivy is a 3-year-old from College Station, TX. and we’re on a mission to raise $5,000 to send Ivy and her family on a dream trip to
Disney World & Give Kids the World Village
where they can make amazing memories together OUTSIDE of the hospital!
Ivy was always the happiest and sassiest kid. She never let her diagnosis change that. Getting the news was hard. No parent wants to hear that. I was six months pregnant at the time and I was already emotional as it was. But having to call our family and friends and tell them, was hard. We didn’t know how to explain it to her sister and I don’t think we told her for maybe a few weeks.
This diagnosis didn’t change my Ivy. If anything, it made her stronger. If she can beat cancer, she can do anything. Ivy loves hats. She has maybe 30 of them in her collection currently and never leaves home without one. She also loves dinosaurs. Anything dinosaur related, she is all about it!
She enjoys being outside and playing with her siblings and her dogs. This trip would give us the chance as a family to celebrate everything we’ve all been through in the last 18 months.
IVY’s goal has been met!
