GOAL REACHED!

Nora is an 8-year-old from Boardman, OH and we’re on a mission to raise
$5,000 to send Nora and her family on a dream trip to Great Wolf Lodge in CA where they can make amazing memories together OUTSIDE of the hospital!

Nora was a beautiful little girl. Big green eyes, wild curly hair. People would stop us to tell us how beautiful she was. She was 4 when she got diagnosed the first time. I look back at that time and cannot believe all she went through. When she relapsed in 2020 during a global pandemic, it was absolutely awful. Nora handled it with grace.
Now on her 2nd relapse, Nora is still ready to fight. She wants to kick the “bad guy” out and get back to school and dance!

Getting the news, even 5 years later, was traumatizing. It was like living a nightmare. The anxiety. The fear. The “how is the happening”? The anger.

Nora’s fight has made us all weaker and stronger at the same time. With it comes the stress and fear of losing her. As a parent, seeing your child go through so much pain and sickness is enough to break you. Patience is thin because you are exhausted and terrified all the time . It makes you appreciate the good times and that makes you sad at the same time…. Because you know it can change in a moments notice.

Nora loves to dance. She has been dancing since she completed frontline treatment in 2019. She loves ballet. She also started swimming on summer swim team this summer. She was hooked! We have missed parties, holidays together, trips, and so much more because of cancer. No immune system makes being with other people impossible.

Nora’s wish is to go to Great Wolf Lodge in CA.
