OUTSIDE of the hospital!
The day we were told Ayden had leukemia was the worse day of my life. Ayden is an only child and the thought of losing him breaks my heart.
My son has fought to stay alive for five years, and his fight is not over. Cancer treatment has prevented him from exploring the world. His childhood has been stolen.
Before being diagnosed Ayden was attending school. He has always loved sports. He was enrolled in Jiu Jitsu, and swimming lessons and was getting ready to start baseball. Ayden is so young and innocent and has no idea his life is not normal. He believes all kids his age are going to the hospital as much as he is. He doesn't feel sick or different. He is full of life and super loving. He has thought of so many the meaning of life. His treatment has brought us closer as a family.
Hopefully, soon he will be allowed to travel and go on fun adventures. My son deserves to travel and so much more. He is such a beautiful soul.
