Santiago is a 5 year old from Forney, TX. Santiago was diagnosed with Relapsed Acute Myeloid Leukemia.

Since this type of cancer is really aggressive, Santiago had several hospital stays for inpatient chemo treatment until he went into remission. However, the family then got the news that Santiago had relapsed. His cancer was back and this time they needed to do a bone marrow transplant. Santiago is still recovering and is now 70+ days post transplant.

Alphonso is a 6 year old from Conway, AR. Alphonso was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia.

After three weeks in the hospital, Alphonso was still running a high fever, wasn’t eating much, and was constantly itching his nose and licking his top lip. One day, his lip started bleeding until it eventually turned black. Alphonso was immediately moved to the ICU, and was sedated for almost two months. He was fighting for his life and fighting the infection until it was completely gone. His whole journey has been nothing but nonstop hospital visits.

June is a 6 year old from Tellico Plains, TN. June was diagnosed with Choroid Plexus Carcinoma and Leptomeningeal Disease.

Her CT and MRI scans indicated several tumors in her brain and up & down her spine. Since diagnosis, June has had two brain surgeries to remove the geo initial tumors. She’s also gone through chemo treatment, proton radiation, transfusions, and many overnight hospital stays.
