DREAM TRIP TO DISNEYLAND

Taylor was extremely active prior to diagnosis. She loved to dance, do gymnastics, and swim. She is a social butterfly and loved playing with her friends and family. She was so excited to be going to school for the first time.

Getting the news was devastating to her and our family. She had to stop all activities and school. She was at a time in her life when she would have benefited from socialization due to the loss of her brother but her immune system was so low and she was so sick that she had to remain at home. She missed an entire year of school. Her twin brothers had to stop numerous activities such as sports and after-school activities for fear they would get Taylor sick. They also spent a lot of time with their grandparents when we were in the hospital caring for Taylor.

This trip would mean the world to us because we have learned that tomorrow is not guaranteed and nothing is more precious than spending time together as a family.
