DREAM TRIP TO ATLANTA ZOO

These are the Sommer triplets. Fun, loving, spunky crazy kiddos. The boys love playing with Lego and Star Wars action figures and SJ, well she loves anything girlie. They all enjoy video games and spending time watching videos on YouTube.

Logan's relapse is our 3rd diagnosis of Leukemia. Xavier was dx at age 4 in 2017, Logan was dx at 6 in 2019 and Logan relapsed at age 9 in 2022. Every time was a complete shock to all of us. It shakes your entire world to hear the words your child has cancer, but to hear it over and over again just devastates everything.

Our family is vastly different now. We've had to move several times, the kids have lost friends and with the risk of sickness always weighing in on us, they have lost the ability to be socially active kids. They don't get to play sports or enjoy most friend parties. We've had to become quite isolated and learn to just be our own best friends. Schools have had to change several times.

Getting to go on a special trip with each other and getting to just be kids is everything to all of the kids in our family. Logan absolutely loves animals and especially pandas. His dream is to be a zoo keeper someday so that he can take care of all the animals he loves so much.
