GOAL MET!
DREAM TRIP TO DISNEY WORLD AND GIVE KIDS THE WORLD VILLAGE
Aliya is a 11 year old from Sacramento, CA. Aliya has had a light about her from the moment of birth. She has done nothing but spread positivity and love her entire life, no matter what she goes through or how people treat her.
Aliya was born at 34 weeks and died 3 times at birth. She lived in the NICU until she was 3 months old and was able to breathe on her own. Since then, she has been constantly hospitalized either due to asthma breathing issues or seizures.
Aliya’s journey started when she had started looking pale and being tired with no energy. She also had bruises popping up everywhere, constant nose bleeds, and her gums would bleed when brushing her teeth. Her mom had medical training and called the doctor explaining all these symptoms. Afraid it was leukemia, she insisted that they do a blood test. The doctor told them to wait 2 weeks for the next available appointment because it didn't sound urgent. So, her mom took matters into her own hands and Aliya was taken to the ER. At the hospital, they confirmed mom’s suspicions and Aliya was diagnosed with B-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia.
We are on a mission to raise $5,000 to send Aliya and her family on a dream trip to The Give Kids The World Village and to Disney World where they can make amazing memories together OUTSIDE of the hospital.
