Alexa is a 9-year-old girl from Lake Elsinore, California
and we're on a mission to raise
$5,000 to send Alexa and her family on a
DREAM trip to Disney World and Give Kids the World Village
where they can make wonderful memories together
outside the hospital!

Before being diagnosed with Cancer, Alexa was a free happy spirit. She loved traveling to Arizona with her grandparents to see my brother and his family when I was able to take her. She enjoyed riding her bike She had just gotten really good at pedaling fast. She was teaching her little baby brother how to scooter.

Getting the news that Alexa had cancer felt like they had given me her death sentence. I honestly didn't think anything else other than I'm going to lose my baby. It was my worst nightmare as a mother/parent to hear.

Our family has definitely come closer and really just been there for her through all of this. We have made her our priority, and have tried to make everything seem less scary and intense. The diagnosis has definitely changed her in ways I never imagined. She has become more angry and sad, something no one would have ever pictured her being. She's pulling herself out of that dark place thankfully. Alexa loved going to school and hanging out with friends and family. Since being diagnosed she has been doing her classes at the hospital because she can not attend regular school. She's lost a lot of connections with friends because she can't see them. We missed out on a lot of family functions and birthday parties since she was immunocompromised.

Having this dream fulfilled would really just help make all the bad memories of her traumatic experience seem smaller. It would mean the world to our family if she is able to be happy and live out her dream of traveling on a plane to reach her destination. She watches a lot of YouTube videos with reviews and gets really excited. I know this would mean everything to her and us.
