Harley is a 3-year-old little boy from the Philippines Islands. When we first met Harley in the Philippines, he was just 1 year old.
We were invited into his home where we learned about his struggles. Harley suffers from Tetralogy of Fallot, a very rare condition caused by a combination of four heart defects that are present at birth. This unique combination of defects causes oxygen-poor blood to flow out of the heart and into the rest of the body.
Due to his condition, Harley has lived a life of isolation, physical exercise like playing causes extreme exhaustion. He's frequently experiencing other related issues due to the lack of oxygen in his body.
Surgery is typically performed the first year of life however, Harley’s parents could not afford the steep hospital fees and post-op requirements that came with open-heart surgery and as they work hard to save for this treatment, his condition worsens to impact other areas of his health and their lives as a family.
Harley is now in dire need of OPEN HEART SURGERY, it's the only way to save his life.
Our mission is to raise $12,000 for the procedure and to provide Harley's family with support and relief from the steep medical fees associated with this treatment.
It will cost $12,000 to fulfill our goal to cover the costs of Harley's open heart surgery.
If just 600 people gave $20, we would reach this goal!
Any funds raised exceeding Harley's goal will go towards our dream bank, to help more kids like Harley.
