Joshy was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia at the age of 4 years old, and continues to receive chemo through his chest port every 4 weeks. We were able to send Joshy and his family on a fun filled day at Grinchmas at Universal Studios!
King was diagnosed with Leukemia at just 2 years old and also battles G6PD, which is an incurable, lifelong blood disorder. His treatment plan of daily Chemotherapy of 3 1/2 years ended in the summer of 2019. We will be sending King and his family on a weekend trip to the beach in the spring of 2020!
Lynden was diagnosed with Anaplastic Large Cell Lymphoma in July of 2019. After 6 rounds of chemo and multiple nights in the hospital, Lynden is now in remission. We were able to send her and her family to Disneyland for 3 days the weekend before Christmas, including a stay at the Disneyland Hotel!
Hudson battles with 5 conditions! Hydrocephalus, Cerebal Palsy, GHD (growth hormone deficiency), Anophthalmia, and Scoliosis. Hudson has damage to parts of his brain from the Hydrocephalus and up until last year, his parents were told he shouldn’t be doing much, but he does! Our mission is to take him and his family to LegoLand!
Benji is a Brain and Spinal Cancer Survivor 5 years ago. Now, he’s battling Thyroid Cancer, and is an outpatient at Summerlin & Sunrise Childrens Hospital. Our mission is to make his best weekend possible as he watches Professional Wrestling with his family.
Emily was diagnosed with B Cell ALL last October. Now she’s in her last two months of the intensification phase and will go into the maintenance phase sometime in August. She had a birthday party last June 29th and told us she doesn’t want to receive gifts for herself. Instead, she had her guests to bring gifts that she donated to the children Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital at Stanford!
Chris was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia at age 1 and spent 2 years in the hospital receiving treatment, where he was able to find a stem cell match. He is now outpatient at City of Hope and attends monthly post transplant appointments with his doctor. We hosted him a ReBirthday party to celebrate his 1 year cancer free anniversary!
Ethan was diagnosed with Rhabdomyosarcoma in 2016. After months of chemotherapy and radiation treatment, Ethan thought he had beat cancer, but in August of 2018, they found his tumors had actually grown and one of them infected his right eye. We’re sending him and his family to Hawaii to swim with the dolphins.
Maddy was our fourth child for our four weeks of giving! At 11 years old, she was able to beat cancer. But had relapse last October 2018 at the age of 15. We were able to give her a new iPod Touch for Christmas to help keep her entertained in the hospital, along with some financial support during her stay at UCSF.
Rocky was our third child for our four weeks of giving! At 12 years old, he is still strong at battling VHR ALL! We gave him a Taylor Guitar with lessons as well for Christmas!
Kendall was our second child for our four weeks of giving! She is definitely a warrior for enduring her chemo sessions. She really loves music and that’s why we gave her a Keyboard for Christmas!
Reece was our first child for our 4 weeks of giving! He is such an energetic kid! We granted his wish of having a fun Christmas morning by delivering toys for him and his brother as they stayed in UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital.
Aiden is one of the kindest children we’ve met. He donated 13 inches of his hair to a pediatric patient. We were able to send him and his family to Disneyland for 3 days!
Avalynn is a fun, princess loving 6 year old! She passed away last October 2019. We’ll still be sending her family on a Disney Cruise and have also been able to rent them a campsite for their trailer near Stanford Hospital during Avalynn’s treatment.
Nathaniel is a huge fan of the San Francisco Giants but had never been to a game. Not only did we get him to his first game, but we also got him a meet and greet with his favorite player, Buster Posey.
The force is strong with AJ! Since he’s a huge Star Wars fan, we built him a Star Wars themed clubhouse as a little escape from his battle with brain cancer.
Meeting Disney princesses was at the top of this little charismatic cutey’s wish list so we sent her and her family to Disneyland!
Austin is a big sports fan and made involving his friends an important part of his campaign so they weren’t left out.
Martin was our first national campaign and brought us to Indiana where we hosted a benefit concert. Sadly, Martin passed in early 2018 from his battle with DIPG.
Taylor is famous for her lemonade stand which she used to raise money for other children with cancer, donating $2,400 in total.
Alex is the most easy going kid in the world adventuring with us to a Sacramento Rivercats game and DJing at a charity event!
Emily was the goofiest of all our kids and left us too soon, passing away from her third battle with cancer in May of 2016.
Sam was our first sponsored youth and the inspiration for OAAT. She is now a sophomore at Chico State and has been cancer free for over a year now.
