A CEO’s Perspective
Mike Moloney is the CEO and Founder of Filtergrade; a photo filter marketplace serving millions of users, which is based out of Boston, MA. Mike has been an OAAT supporter since late 2017, and Filtergrade is currently one of OAAT’s corporate sponsors. Earlier this month, we decided to send Mike out on his first ever #ChangeMaker experience. We connected him with a 4 year old cancer patient out of Wisconsin named Lincoln, who is currently getting treatment in New York City.
After a couple calls and a few messages with Lincoln’s Mom Kaitlyn, Mike was on his way to meet with Lincoln and the rest of his family! They spent the next couple of hours racing hot wheels, playing nerf basketball, and getting to know each other. “Meeting with Lincoln, Bridger, and the rest of his family was a life-changing experience for me. It was a real honor to help Campaign OAAT out by delivering some toys and fun activities to Lincoln and his brother.” – Mike
Coincidentally, Kaitlyn is a photographer and was a huge fan of Filtergrade, which made the experience that much more exciting! Here at OAAT, we are so humbled by how many people get in touch with us about wanting to get involved. We are so happy that we are able to provide these types of experiences, where our donors and supporters are able to witness their direct impact in person. It’s really one of the most rewarding parts of being on the OAAT team; when we get to bring two worlds together, to spread more good. We’re thankful for CEO’s like Mike, who work hard in their business, and have a sincere passion for making a positive impact.
“Beyond just the games and fun, it was thrilling to see the impact we can make together. It really puts things into perspective when you realize how you can use your business and work for good.” – Mike
