Llord’s Dream Come True

Llord Michael Flotildes is a 6 year old boy that lives in Rodriguez, Rizal; a province in the Philippines. On September 7th, 2016, Llord was diagnosed with Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia and began chemotherapy. He was only 3 years old at the time.
Before being diagnosed, Llord enjoyed playing outside and riding his bike. Due to his diagnosis, Llord has been unable to play outside for the past couple of years. He is now in the maintenance phase of his treatment and just began being able to play outside again. The only problem, is he has outgrown the small bike that he was so used to playing with before his cancer journey.

This past weekend, our Philippines Spread Good Squad surprised Llord with a new bike. One that is sized for him to be able to ride for years to come. We also brought along some toys for him and his sister, and provided his parents with some gift cards for groceries. The look on his face when we presented his new bike to him was truly priceless.

Thank you to all of our supporters for making days like this possible. The memories made with his family on this day will last forever. If you’d like to contribute to our next Philippines giving project taking place in December, you can do so by clicking http://bit.ly/childrenofthephilippines.
