It was just a month after Aiden’s first birthday when he was diagnosed with Mitochondrial (Mito) disease.
Four years later and Aiden’s battle still continues.
In March of 2018, the Metabolic doctors at Children’s Hospital Of Orange County (CHOC) started a research study on Aiden to try to figure out what type of Mito he might have. They said it could take months or possibly years to find out.
Aiden is known as the “mystery kid” at CHOC, because he rarely ever hurts and never complains, which is highly uncommon. He is ALWAYS smiling.
This campaign we are on a mission to send this loving little boy and his family to Disney World, so that for the week they can enjoy being together in one of the most magical places on earth.
