At only 7 years old, Ethan was diagnosed with Rhabdomyosarcoma in 2016. His doctors informed his family that his tumor couldn’t be removed, so he endured chemotherapy for 7 months. His scans showed very positive results and led him to remission. Unfortunately, this past August of 2018, his scans showed that the tumor was back and grew even bigger this time.
His right eye was completely infected with cancer, which left no other choice, but to have it removed. Ethan understood the reason and was okay with removing it. After he saw himself for the first time since the surgery, he went into immediate depression, and has been battling for more normalcy ever since.
This campaign, we’re on a mission to bring Ethan the ultimate joy by sending him and his family to Hawaii for the first time, to make up for lost time, and instill hope and adventure for the future!
