At 9 years old, Emily was diagnosed with B Cell Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia. The doctors informed her and her parents that in 30 days, she would be in remission but still she would have to be in treatment for 2-2.5 years. After a month, Emily’s oncologist informed her parents that she didn’t go in remission and they had to intensify her treatment.
Emily is now in her last two months of intensification phase and will go to maintenance phase sometime in August. She will be having a birthday party this coming June 29th and for this year, she doesn’t want to receive gifts, instead she wants her guests to bring gifts to donate to Lucile Packard children’s Hospital in Stanford.
This campaign, we are on a mission to help her make that possible. We have a goal to raise $2,500 so that we can fulfill Emily’s birthday wish of delivering toys to the children at Stanford, as well as provide some extra joy and support for her and her family.
